The 2026 edition of Springbank’s highly sought after 30-year-old single malt is here! The oldest expression in the distillery’s core range, released in limited quantities every year, is always a hit. Springbank 30 Years Old 2026 matured in a combination of 85% bourbon and 15% sherry casks, and is bottled at 46%. Soft candle smoke and manuka honey sweetness open this dram, and the complexity builds in notes of cranberries, white pepper, potpourri and orange. Notes of honeycomb, icing sugar, crystallised ginger and demerara sugar emerge on the palate, along with a brine note reminiscent of salted caramel. Peat smoke continues to the finish, with notes of eucalyptus, mint and gorse bush.
